At St Anne's we promote and support the Fairtrade! Rights Respecting School Ambassadors made sure that we all understand how important it is to buy Fairtrade products, how it can change people's life in many different countries in the world and they also organised a Fairtrade Fair for our families to share the knowledge we have gained over the past 2 weeks and to share the products we have either created or cooked! Thank you to all that took part in such an important event!
SC are very busy counting the SAK vouchers! Thank you for collecting them for us. February winners are Nursery and Y4 Mr Huggins - well done. In February we have collected around 2000 points and thanks to those points we can order some PE equipment. Thank you for your support and... keep collecting them till May 2017.

'Tea Afternoon Tombola Appeal'
We need donations for our Tea Afternoon. Thank you. Come along next week and enjoy the day with us!
School Magic Road Safety Show for all at St Anne's - remember to be safe outside the school. Always remember to STOP, LOOK, LISTEN AND THINK before you cross the street. Walking, scooting and cycling are better ways of getting to school than driving as they keep us healthy and fit, they help looking after environment, they are cheaper and usually faster if you live locally. It is your choice... Please check the website below http://www.schoolmagic.co.uk/
We would like to remind you that we do not accept any forms of bullying at St Anne’s and we all want our school to be a good place to be. Remember about our Rights Respecting School aims – according to Article 29 and 31 we all have a right to education and a right to play so our responsibility is to respect other children’s rights to do so. Also remember about our Growth Mindset approach to everything what we are doing: we may not be good at some things YET but we can always try to be better – being a good friend as well as being helpful can be our first target – if we all try to be friendly and helpful there will be less unhappy moments at our school.
Meet the winners of 'Playground Rules' poster competition and our Playground Ambassadors team - they have started a playtime club for KS1 children - look out for them if you want to play some games!
Thank you to all that created 'Playground Rules' posters. The results will be announced during Friday's assembly18th Nov. It wasn't that easy to judge as they were all very good. Let us just remind you about any poster competition rules so you know what we are looking for while judging who is the winner...
'DAY FOR CHANGE' - we have had a non-uniform day at St Anne's to raise some money for school initiatives; children dressed up as teachers and teachers dressed up as children; we've had lots of fun and now... enjoy half term holidays!
Black History Month Celebrations and our Rights Respecting School Ambassadors in action; Thomas Buxton School visited us too.
