Green Ambassadors

We are very pleased to inform you that we are a Green Ambassador school. We finally have Green Ambassadors!

What is a Green Ambassador?

A Green Ambassador is someone who wants to look after the environment, who wants to see the world been looked after better. A Green Ambassador is a person who likes Nature and Wildlife.

What roles do they carry out?

Green Ambassadors will:

• Encourage their year group to take ownership in the care of their vegetable beds.

Each year group has their own vegetable bed. There will be a competition with prize giving at Harvest Festival. The most committed and greatest grower year group will be the winner.

• Encourage their year group to become greener (recycling, eating healthily (consume food in a sustainable way that’s less harmful to our shared planet and healthier for us), walking or cycling to school.)
• Help organising any vegetable sales.
• Organise, along with their teacher, a cooking day using vegetables from their vegetable bed.
